Exciting!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703856341303488608.post-81073982196904851592011-03-16T05:52:18.339+00:002011-03-16T05:52:18.339+00:00Eh, THE STEEL REMAINS didn't live up to the hy...Eh, THE STEEL REMAINS didn't live up to the hype and left me underwhelmed, as if Morgan was trying too hard to distinguish from his sci-fi background (or not hard enough?), or as if his portraying a gay protagonist/anti-hero/??? was enough to support/justify the story. <br /><br />That said, the focus on Ringil's sexuality was interesting, in part because of its unapologetic portrayal, and there was some pretty cool stuff in the novel. <br /><br />Anywho, congrats to Morgan, but this one'll be a loan from the library for me.
