Everything else can be read in whatever order.<br /><br />However, I usually recommend that people start with THE LIONS OF AL-RASSAN. It definitely stands alone...Simply an amazing book. It definitely stands alone, and works very well as a single volume, but reading Under Heaven gives it so much more depth and resonance.
