Look at a first edition of The Shadow Rising. Narrow margins, small type, tons of words and it's still readable, elegant, and durable. Compare it to either of the Stormlight books and you'll see what I mean.Joshuahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12586709758887432251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703856341303488608.post-33944186469270704602016-12-12T01:27:05.215+00:002016-12-12T01:27:05.215+00:00To the best of my understanding Sanderson has desc...To the best of my understanding Sanderson has described these 10 books as 2 standalone 5 book series so I think the concern about the completion date being so far out is mitigated by that.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02938788014778471934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703856341303488608.post-66326031509388384452016-12-11T19:49:45.563+00:002016-12-11T19:49:45.563+00:00Yes, the physical size pushes the spine to the lim...Yes, the physical size pushes the spine to the limit - esp if you actually read it on something other than a lectern. My hb copy of Hamilton's Reality Dysfunction is a loose paged mess, despite fairly careful handling. Almost worth paying more for a deluxe ed by Sub Press or similar, which holds together better. thomas conneelynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703856341303488608.post-44356219976419933622016-12-11T14:27:41.426+00:002016-12-11T14:27:41.426+00:00I own a second-hand one-volume hardback of TO GREE...I own a second-hand one-volume hardback of TO GREEN ANGEL TOWER.
