I like it. I think it's very entertaining, not great, but entertaining.
It would have been fun to watch Adama mature from hotshot fighter jock to cerebral commander. I think the main reason for the high costs is the many different sets that they had to make for the pilot. Hopefully, they get a good enough response from the show and DVD/BluRay sales to revisit this show.
