A Game of Thrones to start filming in October 2009
In an interview given with a Swedish newspaper (English translation here) about his new novel, City of Thieves, David Benioff (producer and writer) also said that filming should commence in Ireland in October for the Game of Thrones TV series. Not much more information was given than that, but I expect further information will be forthcoming. The Winter is Coming blog comments further here.
