Due to a failure of coordination between myself, the Royal Mail and Pan Macmillan, my review copy of Peter F. Hamilton's latest shelf-destroying SF blockbuster, The Temporal Void, is currently MIA, otherwise the review would likely have appeared by now (the book itself is now available in the UK and will hit the USA in the New Year). Hopefully the problems will be solved next week. In the meantime, check out Peter's interview with The Guardian newspaper here and his latest blog entry here, confirming the return of a fan-favourite character in the forthcoming Evolutionary Void, the final book in the trilogy.
In the meantime, I'm reading Stephen Deas' very fine debut novel The Adamantine Palace and getting through Season 2 of The Wire, and spending too much time hanging out online.
