New cover art: Pratchett & Tchaikovsky

Some upcoming new cover art. First up is the British cover for Adrian Tchaikovsky's The Air War, the eighth book in the Shadows of the Apt series. The book is due out on 2 August 2012.

Secondly, the American cover art for Terry Pratchett's new, non-Discworld novel, Dodger, due on 13 September.

Tchaikovsky: great cover. Don't like the modern obsession with character-closeups on covers, but still excellent. Like the more impressionistic style.

Pratchett: apparently knocked up in five minutes on a computer for a children's computer game, back in the days when they thought that "3D graphics" excused any other failings. Terrible.

Agree with the first poster completely. I hate the YA covers for the US editions of Pratchett - despite the fact that much US trade cover art is better than the UK versions

This Pratchett cover is different from what he posted on his FB. I prefer the other one. I guess that's the U.K. cover?

Dissapointed that the cover art for The Air War has changed as I like the brush stroke covers of the other 7 books :-( dissapointed....
