Solaris Books are reprinting Paul Kearney's best novel, A Different Kingdom, on 28 January 2014. They have unveiled the striking cover art:
And yes, they've spelt Steven Erikson's name wrong in the blurb. Hopefully they fix it before it comes out.

Paul Kearney's "best novel"?
The cover art looks great. I am looking forward to it. This is the only Kearney book I have not read. I enjoyed his other early novels, but not as much as the Monarchies of God, which was fantastic. Have you heard any news about Kearney lately? He seems to have disappeared from the Internet recently. I would love to see the final Sea Beggars novel or something else new from him.
"Paul Kearney's "best novel"?"
Yes, very much so. Very different from his more famous military fantasies though.
As for SEA-BEGGARS, apparently that's gotten tangled up in a new legal snarl, this time with the American publishers of the original. Nothing can happen with that until that's sorted out.
Geez, Kearney really doesn't get lucky with his publishers, which is a real shame as he deserves to be much better known than he currently is.
Hopefully these new problems are quickly solved.
